Experienced, Visionary Leadership

Tangio Printed Electronics has a reputation for quality and innovation under the leadership of  Robin Jeffries and Yvette Cormier. Together they bring 60 years of experience in technology to the organisation, as well as excellent analytical and negotiation skills. Robin and Yvette have guided the company’s continual growth by building strong relationships with customers, business partners, and industry specialists to successfully launch new product lines.

Robin Jeffries, Co-Owner / President

Robin is a graduate of both the Portsmouth Polytechnic School of Management and the Cranfield Manufacturing Management Development Programme in the UK. He has an innate ability to develop new concepts and make them viable by seeing the big picture. With 34 years of experience and a vast knowledge of production and screen printing, Robin provides his expertise on a consulting basis to industry equipment manufacturers. Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends and advances in technology, Robin ensures Tangio Printed Electronics utilizes the latest equipment and materials to produce innovative custom-product lines for our valued customers.

Yvette Cormier, Co-Owner / Controller

Yvette is a graduate of Capilano University’s Financial Management Program and remains an active member of the CGA Association of Canada.  As one of the founding members of Sytek Enterprises in 1983, Yvette has applied her formal training and experience in banking, auditing, accounting, and controllership to successfully navigate economic cycles and boost the growth of Tangio Printed Electronics to its current level as an enterprise with multi-million dollar revenues.

Mark Graham, Head of Development

Mark has over two decades of industry experience in new product development, introduction and adaptation.

Prior to joining Tangio, Mark was CTO and VP of Product Development at Peratech Ltd, a UK-based innovator and intellectual property licensor of Human-machine interface (HMI) sensor materials and software. In that role, Mark was responsible for managing all internal and external product development programs and customer projects, and delivering innovative and disruptive HMI sensor solutions, concepts and materials to the company’s OEM and Tier-1 customers. Over the course of his career, Mark has been fundamental in securing a number of key patent applications and he has continuously pushed the boundaries of innovation, engineering and science.

Mark has a strong mechanical engineering background with extensive experience in printed electronics, sensor applications, manufacturing, product integration and development. Throughout his professional career, Mark has worked in a number of product design consultancies as design engineer and manager for consumer, medical, industrial and automotive products.

Neil Jarvie, VP Business Development

Neil has over 25 years global experience in high-technology business development and major account management from both the Semiconductor and touch-sensing markets. 

Following his graduation from Newcastle Polytechnic (UK) in Electronic Engineering he moved into national then international sales management roles of increasing seniority with Rohm Semiconductor in the UK and USA. Eleven years with Cypress Semiconductor in Global Strategic Account management positions saw Neil drive major revenue growth at key global customers including Nokia Networks, Motorola, Sony & Ericsson. 

In 2011 he moved into the Resistive touch-sensing market with VP roles at Peratech and latterly Interlink Electronics. 

Neil has extensive experience building strategic customer relationships from initial meeting to multi-million dollar annual revenue, and developing global sales and distribution networks through trusted partners in key geographic regions. His knowledge spans multiple markets including Automotive, Consumer & Computing, Industrial, Medical, Home Automation and Power Tools.

Colin Page, Development & Design Director

Colin has been printing electronics for over 20 years.  He plays an integral part in the research and development of printed electronics for both our facility and our customers’ needs.  Colin is responsible for some of the most advanced and widely available implementations of force sensors in the world. 

Liam Jeffries, Production Manager

Growing up on the North Shore, Liam started at the bottom and worked his way up through the production process to where he is now, managing the production team and manufacturing schedule at Tangio Printed Electronics.  Liam uses his business management certification and an innate knowledge of the equipment and operations within the production process to keep the company agile.  Liam is the driving force behind the “rapid” in Tangio’s Rapid Prototyping Promise.

Colin Huen, Development / Process Engineer

Colin Huen is a graduate from the University of Victoria in Mechanical Engineering with a Business minor. He has been with Tangio since 2010 as part of the product development team. Colin commits part of his time evaluating feasibility and effectiveness of new solutions in the printed electronic industry; solutions that will not only enhance existing products but propel Tangio to the next level of cutting-edge innovation. Colin is also heavily involved in global manufacturing operations; ensuring quality, consistency, testing, documentation and overall processes meet the utmost standards.
